Urban’s New Monster

Earlier this month, country artist, Kieth Urban released “God Whispered Your Name.” The song talks about how he was lost until God “whispered” the name of the person he needed to find to feel whole. It has a catchy beat, a chorus is sung really well, and meshes great with his voice. I think that if this is a preview to his new album that comes out later this year, then there could be another CMA Entertainer of the Year Award in Urban’s near future. His previous single, “We Were” has the same vibe as “God Whispered Your Name” and I believe that these songs could be a new groove that Urban is exploring.

His voice and the way he sings with the beat really showcases his singing talent. He has recently performed the single at the CRA awards and the crowd seemed to enjoy it. So, whatever Keith Urban is doing, it is working. “God Whispered Your Name”  is amazing and has a great vibe to it. I think it’s a win for both him and his fans, and will resonate great with all fans, not just country music fans. If this is any indication of what his new album will sound like, then it will be a monster album for the 50 year old star.
