A malfunctioning ink machine created a tall, horrific, humanoid ink demon version of an old-fashioned black and white cartoon character named Bendy the Dancing Demon, whose face is melted to the point where black ink obscures his eyes in the video game “Bendy and the Ink Machine.”

The story of the first game follows the main character, Henry, as he receives a letter from his old business partner Joey Drew to visit the abandoned workshop where they worked on cartoons together in the 1930s. The cartoons they made were the same kind as Mickey Mouse cartoons, but with a different character: Bendy the Dancing Demon. Henry goes to the shop and finds a strange ink machine, which spirals out of control and starts to flood the shop with black ink and turns Joey Drew’s employees into ink monsters. From the ink emerges an evil, monstrous version of Bendy and other terrifying creatures.

The plot of Bendy and the Dark Revival will be determined when the game is released, but the main character has been revealed as a young girl named Audrey, whose role is still unknown.

The upcoming video game “Bendy and the Dark Revival” is the sequel to the popular horror-survival game “Bendy and the Ink Machine”.

The original video game was developed and published by Kindly Beast under the name of the game’s in-universe animation studio Joey Drew Studios, and it was released on Feb. 10, 2017. The sequel, “Bendy and the Dark Revival”, will be released around Oct. 2020.
