Christian Keller walloped a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to run-rule South San on Tuesday, 11-1. The win extended the team’s win streak to 13 games; over that period, the Rangers have outscored opponents 133-9. They’ll travel to South San on Friday and San Marcos on Saturday before taking on Judson next week.

Softball

Softball lost on the road at New Braunfels on Tuesday. The team gave up 2 runs in the 1st and 2nd innings as well as 3 runs in the 4th in route to a 7-3 loss. Both teams had 9 total hits in the game, however the two errors committed by the Rangers took it’s toll as the game went on.
