Girls soccer took first place in their Ranger Classic from Jan. 6-8, where they beat MacArthur 10-0, Bowie 3-0 and Canyon 4-0. The Rangers travel to Leander from Jan. 13-15, where they will face North Crowley, Leander and Cedar Ridge. 

Boys soccer won 4 games from Thursday to Saturday in the Woodlands Highlander Kilt Cup, defeating Conroe, Magnolia West, Alief Taylor and Klein Cain. On Thursday,Jan 13, they take on Garland Rowlett at 6:30 p.m.

Swimming will be competing in the junior varsity district championships today, at Das Rec. They will be competing against the 27- 6a District, including Steele and Judson. This will be the same competition faced on Jan. 29 at the District Championships at Davis Natatorium. 

Wrestling competed in the Cy- Fair invitational, the largest varsity wrestling tournament in the nation, with 81 total teams competing. Sage Benca took first in the 148 weight class, making her the top wrestler for that weight class in Texas. Selena Sifuentes Shaffer took fourth overall in her weight class, and Topher Stubbs and Efren Arizmen took sixth in the 182 and 170 weight classes, respectively. 

On Tuesday, Jan. 4 girls basketball beat New Braunfels 57-51,  and they lost 52-36 to Schertz Clemens on friday, Jan 7.

Boys basketball defeated South San 55- 51 on Jan 11, following their loss to Clemens 69- 44. They will face Judson on Jan 14.
