Baseball beat Clemens in five innings on Friday, 12-0, behind Jackson Elizondo’s complete-game one-hitter. They followed that win up with a 3-0 triumph at South San on Tuesday, led by another complete-game one-hitter, this one by Tim Arguello. The Rangers, who earned the No. 7 spot in this week’s THSBCA rankings, will host the Bobcats on Friday.

Softball blew out Wagner on Friday, 21-0, hitting four home runs along the way. On Tuesday, the Rangers fell to New Braunfels, 3-2. Currently sitting at 10-10-1, 5-4, the Rangers will look to continue their playoff push on Friday against Clemens.

Multiple school records were broken at the Texas Relays, including the girls 4×400-meter relay, consisting of Favour Uduji, Mia Perez, Alyssa Jones, and Jazmyn Singh, which with a time of 3:48.51 broke the school record and put them fourth in the state and fifth in the nation. Jonah Ulbricht also took second overall for Pole Vault, and the boys 4×400-meter relay (AJ Breault, Danny McKeague, Xander Miller, and Tevijon Williams) ran a 3:19.56, the second fastest time in school history.
