Most SURE Club meetings, always on Thursdays, are usually composted of lessons and discussions.

Respect and equality.

Those are the main goals of the SURE Club. Making everyone feel equal and supported.

SURE Club stands for Students United for Respect and Equality, and all students are welcome. The club discusses topics such as racial, gender and ableism issues. They want to make sure that students around campus remain informed on these sensitive topics to make people more understanding.

Senior Ainsley Miliken is the club president and senior Campbell Lueck is the vice president. Meetings are held every Thursday after school in English teacher Jimmy Wilson’s room, Room B120 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

“If you want to be educated or are even just bored,” Miliken said. “Go to a meeting and you may learn something.”
