After breaking records, girls and boys 4×4 relay teams celebrate top times in the state and U.S.at the Ranger Relays March 4.

Led by relay teams with top times in the nation, 17 track and field athletes travel to Austin this week for the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

The Texas Relays, the second largest track event behind the Penn Relays, features more than 7.000 athletes from high schools and colleges around the nation.

Boys and girls 4X400 meter relay teams are expected to perform well at the event, which takes place today through Saturday.

Alyssa Jones, Favour Uduji, Mia Perez, Jazmyn Singh and Zada Zimmerman have racked up noteworthy times in the 4X400 this season as have AJ Breault, Jalen Davis, Elijah Hudson, Freddie Dubose and Jahirey Calais.

Not to be overlooked, Jacquelyn Rolle, Jatorie Mobley, Uduji and Jones excel n the 4X200 meter relay. Tommy Milam and Davis are listed in the 4X100 meter relay along with Calais, Dubose, Hudson, and Breault.

Rolle, Jones, Singh, Perez and Uduji also compete in the 1600 sprint medley relay.

Hurdlers Maycee Moody and Zada Zimmerman (100 m) and Haven Johansen (110 m) also make the trip. 

Individually, Jones competes in the 100 meter dash and long jump. Rolle also runs in the 100 meter, and Jaxson Maynard qualified to compete in the discus.
