Fallen branches fill the front yard of senior Bethany Mann after the last major freeze two years ago.
Freezing rain, ice and possibly snow are headed into the area starting Thursday, the National Weather Service predicts.
From 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., the chances for precipitation will climb from 20% to 90%. Temperatures will stay consistently in the mid 30s throughout the day and get colder at night. Winds will vary from 5 to 15 mph.
