Staying up late for football games every Friday night and waking up early the next day to get run-throughs in before competitions finally paid off on Oct. 22. when the band redeemed its and took home a I, the best score possible to achieve.

After an upsetting score of a II this past year, which ended an 18-year streak of constant Is, the band made sure to give its all when it performed its show, “Extreme Deception,” at Heroes Stadium.

The band, getting a score of a one, moved on to area and will perform its UIL  show in Austin on Oct. 29.
