Football vs Lake Travis game preview

After a dominate 53-7 victory over the Warren Warriors the team now faces their toughest opponent yet as they prepare to take on lake Travis in the 2nd round of the Texas High School Football Playoffs.

Lake Travis enters the game as the 3rd ranked team in the state and aside from a loss to the Judson Rockets in their first game of the season have breezed to a 10-1 record while claiming the District 25-6A championship.

As for the team they enter the game with a 8-2 record and a 2nd place finish in the District 27-6A race. After losing two games in a row early in the year to Round Rock and Steele the team has gone on a seven winning streak. They are also currently the 16th ranked team in the state and the 2nd ranked team in the San Antonio area.

The game is going to be a heavyweight battle with two storied programs clashing in the early rounds of the playoffs. The game will be held at a neutral site at Bobcat Stadium in San Marcos at Texas State University. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
