FCCLA Conference and Star Event Competition took place Jan. 27-28 in Corpus Christi.
Advancing to the state competition in April are:
Andie O’Brien placed first in the Cupcake Battle;
Lindamaraya Argeaz placed second in Tourism and Hospitality;
Brianna Esperiqueta, Alexis Parscale and Sheena Gabriel placed third in Food Innovations;
junior Katelynn Mercier placed fifth in Recycle Redesign;
senior Sydney Rosener placed fifth in Recycle Redesign; and
Hope Scheivelbein placed fifth in Focus on Children.
The students were advised by family and community service teachers Lauren DeLoach, Wendy McCuiston and Tina Olcott.
