The football team aims for a perfect 3-0 start to the season when it faces off against the Round Rock Dragons tonight at Ranger Stadium.

The Dragons are grasping for their first win of the season, as they come into tonight’s game 0-2, with a first week loss against Clemens and a lopsided defeat last week against Temple, 48-14.

The one bright spot in the loss was senior running back Malik Pena, who finished the game with 118 yards on only 11 carries and a touchdown.

After an obliteration of the Anderson Trojans last week, the Rangers come into tonight’s game seeking a second consecutive week of domination on the gridiron, as they look to avenge their loss against the Dragons last season. That game that saw Round Rock finish on top, 20-14.

Tonight’s matchup will be a true test for the team, as it prepares itself versus a familiar team.
