The varsity volleyball team takes on Wagner  away from home tonight at 7 looking to win its sixth match in a row. The two teams face off for the first time this season as Wagner looks to get its first win in district this year as the Rangers hope to avoid their first district loss.

The Rangers took home 3-0 wins in their first two games in district against East Central and Steele, which puts them in first place early on in district play.

Wagner has struggled early on in district so far with two 3-0 losses against Clemens and Canyon. The Thunderbirds haven’t had a bad season otherwise as their overall record is 13-9. The Rangers started the season by losing four out of their first games but have gotten better over the season and their record stands now at 17-10.

Following this game the Rangers come back home to play a tough Clemens team who has a 29-3 record while boasting a 21-game win streak. The game against Clemens takes place Tuesday at 7 p.m.
