The flu virus is is a deadly infection that is common and can be spread very easily and it is currently an issue many people are dealing with. This all started in November and people are still catching the virus. It has gotten so severe that even the healthiest people are dying from the flu.

Student Tyler Carlson, who was one of those affected, said, “I felt chills, feverish, and heaving. My entire family has had the flu as well.”

According to Harvard University, “During the winter, people spend more time indoors with the windows sealed, so they are more likely to breathe the same air as someone who has the flu and thus contract the virus.” A person can get sick by being surrounded by others who are sick.

There are ways to avoid the flu such as washing your hands daily.  It washes away all of the germs from what you have previously touched. There are germs everywhere. Avoid touching your face because the virus can stay there for a while. Avoiding close contact with people can also prevent someone from getting the flu.

Overall, the flu is spreading across the country and people are getting affected greatly.
