During the Super Bowl commercials last night, a teaser trailer for the new “Star Wars” dropped. Titled “Solo” the movie is about Han Solo and his adventures before audiences meet him in “A New Hope.”

Alden Ehrenreich stars as young Solo and Donald Glover plays young Lando Calrissian. Emilia Clarke stars as Qi’ra and Woody Harrelson plays Beckett, Solo’s mentor.

The trailer shows Solo being interviewed by an Imperial officer. He tells the officer he wants to be a pilot and there are shots of space chases and of Glover and Clarke. The movie plans to follow how Solo became the smuggler and outlaw audiences know.

The movie will open May 25 on the 41st anniversary of the release of “A New Hope.”
