There will be a table inside the main hall where students can write letters to the victims of the Parkland shooting.

The table will be open 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. this week. A table in the library will be open during lunches as well for letter writing.

“I wanted the students to read a handwritten letter of support,” creator of the campaign and senior Maria Rocha said. “It’s one thing to see a tweet and it’s another thing to get a letter from a highschool student just like them.”

The teacher from Parkland is asking for the letters for the students first day back.

“I hope these letters tell the students we are here for them, inspired by them and we want to see change as well,” Rocha said. “We are with them, we understand them and we’ve got their back.”
