In the area meet Wednesday and Thursday, the following athletes placed within the top four, advancing them to the region track meet April 27-28 at Alamo Stadium.

Five qualified and two students placed first in their event.

WEDNESDAY

Boys:

Jeremiah Gilliam – second – high jump

Clayton Wilkerson -fourth – 3200m

Girls:

Sara Scott- area champion – 3200

Christina Phelps – area champion – long jump

Avianna Trinidad – third – pole vault

 

THURSDAY

Boys:

Jacob Zuber- Area Champion- 400m

Girls:

Amalie Mills- 4th- 400m

Sara Scott- 2nd – 1600m

1,600m Relay- 2nd

 

These students will advance to region with the goal of advancing to state.
