With nearly 750 tickets sold before prom on Saturday night, organizers of the event had their hands full to get the JW Marriott ballroom ready for an Arabian Night.

And their efforts were not wasted.

“The crowd was pumped to the max,” junior Bryce Petro said. “Everybody was dancing and going nuts. It was really fun and the atmosphere was electric. Our faculty and staff were amazing along with our police officers that were present.”

A variety of hot appetizers, coffee and desserts kept the dancers energized until midnight while dresses and tuxes kept attendees buzzing about what everyone was wearing.

“Prom was so fun and energetic,” junior Cody Mockert said. “It was one of the most fun times I ever had.”

History teacher Michael Saberian called names of the senior superlatives. The crowd was filled with “oos” and “ahhs” when winners were announced, including prom king Bobby Palomin and prom queen Maggie Luhrman.
