The varsity tennis team wrapped up its season in a bidistrict match against state perennial powerhouse Lake Travis Tuesday at Wimberley High School.

The 1-10 loss capped a season that saw the Rangers finish third in district behind powerhouses Clemens and New Braunfels.

Coach Jimmy LaLonde said the coaches were proud of the team’s hard work, dedication and devotion

“From starting the year playing in August in over 100 degrees temperatures to finishing their final match in 40’s, it was fun,” he said in an email to the staff.

“We went out there and played hard,” senior tennis player Colten Stevens said. “I really enjoyed playing this year’s fall season.”
