Family and friends packed the main gym as three athletes signed letters of intent to compete at the collegiate level Wedesday in the main gym.

Christian Romano, who signed his letter of intent to Hardin-Simmons University, started at defensive back his junior and senior years.

“I like the coaches up there and they have a great program,” Romano said. “It also gives me a chance to get a good degree and get me ready for what’s to come after college.”

Logan Smith, who signed to Abilene Christian University, played offensive tackle his junior and seniors years. He plans to move to tight end at ACU.  Haley Smith  signed her letter of intent to play soccer for Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio.
