Junior Brianna Grell’s teammates hype her up as she’s introduced in the starting lineup. Teammate Tanyse Moehrig was sidelined from a knee injury on Jan. 8 against Judson.

Track edged out various opponents from the Austin and San Antonio area and came out in first place in a field of 11 schools on Monday at the Lake Travis Invitational.

Jeremiah Gilliam, Ellen Thompson, and Arianna Trinidad took home gold in their respective events.

Gregg Eggleston, Mason Garner, Girls Sprint Medley, and Girls 4x400m grabbed silver in their events.

Jezell Shows, Boys Distance Medley, and Girls 4x400m won bronze.

The team will travel to Dripping Springs this Saturday for the Tiger Relays.

 

Varsity softball went 2-2 during the Ranger Round Robin tournament and had victories over Los Fresnos and Eagle Pass. Hannah Kollmansberger hit a three-run home run during the Eagle Pass game.

Softball beat Eagle Pass 8-2 last Saturday.

Hannah Kolhmansberger had a two-run home run.

They were down 2-1 at the top of the fifth but then 7 unanswered runs in the fifth led them to the win.

Girls’ basketball lost to Clark 56-63 last friday at the Alamo Convocation Center.

Trinity Garrett led the team in scoring with 16 points; Ashley Adaszczyk with 15 points; and Anika McGarity with 11 points.

Ashley Adaszczyk and Trinity Garret led the team in assists with three each.

They finished the season 26-9 and 10-4 in district play.
