After dominating in the previous two rounds, zone and district competition, Production’s “GINT” advanced yet again. Competing against two schools they encountered the last two rounds, and a additional three schools from Austin, they held their ground and earned second place.

The cast and crew continued to be recognized in the individual and ensamble awards. Senior Ava Lunsford was awarded Outstanding Technician. The entire crew – seniors LJ Haider, Kate Barber, Lunsford, and juniors Gracen Farmer and Stephen Barkalow, yet again, were awarded outstanding crew. All Star Cast award went to junior Hannah Marfin, and for a third time in a row, Best Actor went to junior Caleb Mosley.

The Production class has been working since January, with their hard work paying off. For a chance to see the show, “GINT” will be having a public performance on April 4 in the auditorium at 6 p.m.

The next round of competition is the UIL One Act Play area competition, hosted again at Smithson Valley on April 6.
