Student population swelled by more than 200 since school let out in June.
After the first day, the total enrollment numbers were 2559 students, compared to the last day of school’s enrollment of 2,448 students.
By the end of the second day, the total population was 2,634 students. On day three, the enrollment numbers were at 2,644 students.
The campus is now the largest school in the district with 60 more students than Canyon High School.
“When you live in the second-fastest growing city on the nation, and the seventh-fastest growing county in the nation, and you’re between Austin and San Antonio, it’s obviously a combination for rapid expansion,” superintendent Andrew Kim stated. “Add to the fact that we’ve earned a reputation for producing great, quality education, it’s no wonder we’re experiencing the growth that we are.”
