The volleyball team was upset by the East Central Hornets on Friday 3-1 away from home dropping their district record to 6-3 (21-13 overall) on the season.

The Rangers won the first game easily with a 25-16 win but then proceeded to lose the following three 20-25, 17-25 and 21-25.  This game was a surprise as the Rangers had a much better district record going into the game and in the previous matchup between the two teams the Rangers swept the Hornets 3-0.

The team had hoped to stay on track in the front of the pack in the  district race but this loss seems to now take them off track to coming out in first.

The Rangers won the first game easily with a 25-16 win but then proceeded to lose the following three 20-25, 17-25 and 21-25.

With five district games remaining the Rangers have their next game on Tuesday against Wagner at home at 7:00. In the last matchup the team swept Wagner 3-0.
