Junior Ben Zeug won the shot put competition at the area track meet.

All 19 Ranger athletes qualified to move on to the regional meet.
The girls team finished second overall (three points behind Judson).  Regionals are Friday and Saturday at Alamo Stadium.  Athletes must be in the top two in their event to qualify for the state championships.
Area champions include:
Girls 4x400m Relay (Pappas, Uecker, McDole, Bachman)
Reagan Bachman (800m)
Olivia Pappas (100H & 300H)
Colleen Clancy (pole vault)
Ben Zeug (shot put)
Tristen McNeal (800m) – new school record
Also moving on to regionals are:
Boys 4x400m relay (Zuber, Beam, Padonu, McNeal) – 4th
Kylie Welch – 3200 (2nd) & 1600 (2nd)
Kerri Welch – 3200 (3rd) & 1600 (3rd)
Cambria Clark – 3200 (4th) & 1600 (4th)
Mackenzie Jensen – 800 (4th)
Megan Mann – 100H (2nd), 300H (2nd), Long Jump (4th)
Colbi Maurer – Pole Vault (3rd)
Cody Miller – 3200m (3rd)
