With a faceful of New Braunfels junior Cameron Pitts' glove, sophomore cornerback Hunter Haug puts grabs a handful of jersey during a 29-18 win Friday at Unicorn Stadium. For the season, Haug has had 38 tackles (solo and assisted), two deflected passes, one caused fumble, and three interceptions. Two of those were returned for touchdowns.

Shippey, although nervous about graduating early, is ready to begin this new chapter in her life. “[I’m looking forward to] just being part of a team,” Shippey said. “There’s nothing better than having built in friends, being part of a team and having something to work for.”
