Graduation week runs from May 23 to June 1.

Graduation is often regarded as the most exciting part of high school. Here is a calendar of all the events in Graduation Week:

Thurs. May 23 – Senior Final Exam for periods 4, 5, 6 and 7

Friday May 24 – Senior Final Exams for periods 1, 2 and 3

  • Senior students are dismissed from school after 3rd period
  • Pay Fines and Obligations in Front Office

Tues. May 28 – Final Deadline for all Fines and Obligations

  • 8:30 a.m. – noon – cap and gown distribution in auditorium

Wed. May 29 –

  • 8:45 a.m. Senior Breakfast / Decision Day celebration
    • Students are encouraged to wear their college, career path, or military colors)
  • 9:30 a.m. Cap and Gown panoramic picture
  • 10:40 a.m. Senior Walk
    • Seniors are released after the walk is complete.

Thurs. May 30 – 9 a.m. Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal in Sub Varsity gym

  • Cap decorations must be approved by administration at rehearsal.

Sat. June 1- Graduation at 1 p.m.

  • Students must report to Strahan Coliseum Room 101 by noon and bring graduation gown on a hanger. All valuables, purses and cell phones must be left with family.
  • The dress code for women includes dresses or slacks with a blouse and appropriate shoes. High heels are not recommended and flip flops are not allowed. For men, the dress code requires dress shirt, tie and slacks with appropriate shoes. Flip flops are also not permitted for men.
  • Noise makers are not permitted in the graduation. Family and friends may meet graduates after the ceremony on the Sewell Park side of Strahan Coliseum behind Room 101.
