Senior Colt Hermesch received a $180,000 NJROTC scholarship to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on Feb. 26. Hermesch is now apart of the Naval ROTC Program at MIT. The program provides training in naval science subjects as well as physical training. After the program, when paired with a bachelor’s degree, students qualify for commissions in the US Navy and the US Marine Corps.
