With a 2-1 win over San Antonio Churchill last Thursday, the boys’ varsity soccer team advanced to the second round of the playoffs. In what was a fairly tight game for the district champion soccer team they were able to escape a pesky Churchill team.

In the first half, both teams had opportunities to score, but no one was able to capitalize. After a little bit of back and forth play, both teams headed into the second half knotted up at 0-0. In the second half, the team was finally able to get the ball rolling and eventually came away with a 2-1 win via goals from Andrew Beard and Nathaniel Diaz.

With the playoffs starting to heat up, the team prepares to travel to Comalander Stadium to take on Stevens High School. The game will be played Friday, April 1st at 7:00 p.m.
