Cutting drugs to ribbons
Spirit week and homecoming are fast approaching

Drag out those pajamas, rock and roll T-shirts and spirit wear, along with plenty of red ribbons because student council combines Spirit Week and Red Ribbon Week into one big celebration, ending with the crowning of homecoming royalty and football game on Thursday.
Students can dress up each day to show their support for school and being drug free. Homecoming court voting will take place on Monday via the Google Form located in each class Google Classroom.
The themes for each day are as listed below.
Monday: Pajamas
Tuesday: Decades (9th grade- 1960s; 10th grade- 1970s; 11th grade- 1980s; 12th grade- 1990s)
Wednesday: Cowboy versus Alien
Thursday: Smithson Valley Spirit
Friday: Rock N’ Roll
Red Ribbon Week is a campaign against drug-abuse, used in schools to deliver effective drug prevention. The 2020 theme is, “Be happy. Be brave. Be drug free.” The Homecoming football game will take place on Thursday at 7:00
