District 25-6A defender of the year senior Elijah Thompson signed this morning to play soccer next year with Saint Mary’s University.

Thompson, a four-year letterman, had a standout career for the varsity soccer team. In his freshman and sophomore year, Thompson earned second team All District honors in addition to first team All-Region honors with a second team All State selection coming in his sophomore season.

In his junior season, Thompson took home first team All District and first team All Region awards.

Finally, in his senior season with the team, he received first team All District honors and the 25-6A Defender of the Year award.
