Girls soccer goes undefeated in district; coach records 300 career wins

Swim took first place at the district championships, for the sixth and seventh years in a row for the boys and girls, respectively. They now look to the regional championships on Feb. 4 and 5.

Boys soccer beat New Braunfels 6-1 on Friday and defeated Clemens last night 3-1, making them 3-0 and first in district. They will play South San at home this Friday.

Girls soccer is also undefeated in district with wins over New Braunfels, 2-0, and Clemens, 4-0. Head Coach Jason Adkins celebrated his 300th career victory after Tuesday’s win over the Buffs. 

Boys basketball lost to Clemens on Tuesday, 76-57, despite Zayden High’s 35 points and 15 rebounds. The Rangers now sit tied for fourth in District 27-6A, and will host South San (0-10, 6-20) on Friday.

Girls basketball lost to Clemens on Tuesday, 57-51, officially ending their playoff hopes. The Rangers have two games remaining, at South San on Friday and against Judson on Tuesday.
