You’ve probably heard of avocados, butter, jam, cheese, ham, bacon and eggs on toast, but what about yogurt?

Social media has highlighted many weird food trends in the past, like watermelon with yellow mustard and whipped coffee, but the newest trend, yogurt toast, has many people, including me, very confused.

I’ve heard of avocado toast and french toast, both of which are now my breakfast staples, but I can’t help but wonder what yogurt toast is like. So I decided to make yogurt toast and try it out for myself.

After making yogurt toast with this recipe, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new way to eat toast. It is like the healthier version of french toast since it uses protein-packed yogurt and lots of fruit.

I put some maple syrup, raspberries and blueberries on my yogurt toast and it turned out great. It takes about twenty minutes to make, so make sure to wake up extra early if you plan on making this treat for breakfast.

There are different variations of yogurt toast, and it can also be made using dairy-free yogurt or gluten-free bread, making this breakfast very accessible to people with food allergies or dietary restrictions.  There are a variety of toppings that you can also add, including bananas, berries, fruit jelly, and figs. And don’t worry if you don’t have an air fryer—you can also use a toaster oven to make yogurt toast.

Even though I was skeptical about yogurt toast at first, it turned out to be delicious. I definitely recommend making this if you are bored of eating the same old cereal every day.
