Basketball player inks commitment to Trinity
May 5, 2016
Senior Tyler Peavy signed his letter of commitment Thursday to play basketball at Trinity University starting in the 2016-17 school year.
Peavy averaged 7.8 points per game for the varsity basketball team this year. A two-year letterman for the team, he was the only senior on the team to sign on to go and play collegiate basketball.
Peavy now becomes the second member in his family to play college basketball following his father, Ben Peavy, who played at Marquette University.
On hand for the signing were Peavy’s family, coaches Ike Thornton and Myke Ortiz, and members of the boys basketball team.
