Baseball defeats South San, Judson

Kasen Wells hit for the cycle against Judson, leading baseball (18-4-0, 8-1 district)  to an 8-0 victory on Tuesday.

Wells also hit two triples and a home run against South San in an 8-2 win. MaxPreps currently has the baseball team ranked 11th in the state. Baseball plays Judson again on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Softball

Softball fell to South San 10-2, on Tuesday, despite Madaline Haun throwing seven strikeouts and allowing only two earned runs in 4.2 innings pitched. Softball travels to Judson Thursday.

Tennis

Tennis competed at the regional championships at McFarland Tennis Center in San Antonio. The mixed doubles team of Hannah Giordanelli and Dylan Smith competed along with the doubles team of Kyle Sanders and Shane Mcginnis. Trieste Perciavalle played in the girls singles division. Playing in the boys singles were Luke Cantu and Rowan Olsen. 

On to the next level

The boys and girls track team competes Wednesday and Thursday at the District 27-6A meet at South San with area on April 28 at Heroes Stadium. Next week, the golf teams travel to McAllen for the region tournaments.
