Led by Ryan Chaffin’s first career home run, baseball blew out Judson on Thursday, 20-2. The Rangers were scheduled to host East Central on Tuesday, but that game was postponed to Wednesday because of rain.
Softball lost to East Central on Tuesday, 7-1, to drop to 5-8 in district play. Now out of playoff contention, the Rangers will host Steele on Friday in the final game of the season.
Boys golf ended their Regional Championship tournament on Tuesday, with Anniston McIlwain advancing to the state championship after a birdie on the third playoff hole. Girls golf began their regional championship on Wednesday.
