Track will send the girls 4×400 meter relay, consisting of Mia Perez, Jazmyn Singh, Alyssa Jones, and Favour Uduji, to state at the University of Texas on Friday, along with Tevijion Williams in the 100 meter and 200 meter dash. Jazmyn Singh will also be competing in the 400 meters.

Baseball won a tightly-contested matchup with Churchill on Saturday, 5-1, as a fifth-inning run propelled the Rangers to a victory in the series-deciding Game 3. Led by a pitching staff which allowed just two earned runs the entire series, the Rangers will move on to the second round, beginning a three-game series against Austin Westlake on Thursday.

Anniston McIlwain competed at the Class 6A state championship golf tournament in Belmont, where he finished the 18th hole with 152 strokes, 79 on day 1 and 73 on day 2.
