The homecoming dance will be Oct. 8 from 7 to 11 p.m.

Tickets go on sale for $25 Sunday to Monday, $30 from Tuesday-Oct. 2, $35 from Oct. 3-7th, and $40 at the door.

The theme this year is “Disco Fever.”

 “I think it is going to be overall fun for people to dress up and the decoration is going to be awesome,” student council memberSydney Rakowitz said. 

Student Council first met on Sept. 6 to discuss the dance.

“Given the time and preparation, we can make this dance fun,” Spirit Master Mckenzie Hayley said, “and I’m excited to work on this theme.”

 Some students have expressed disinterest in the theme.

“I think they could have chosen a better theme,” sophomore Clayton Villalongin said, “like more of a classy New York or a Chicago vibe with jazz music.”

While some students are disappointed, some are excited for the dance. 

“I think it’ll be an amazing dance,” sophomore Lily Haider said, “and I love the theme because I helped vote for it.”
