Football

Rangers take on the Manvel Mavericks Friday at 7 p.m in Bastrop.   Rangers (10-1) extended their nine-game winning streak with a 30-7 victory over Cedar Park while Manvel defeated Waltrip on the road 42-3. This week’s theme is Ranger Pride.

Girls Basketball

Girls Basketball dominated Burnet Tuesday winning 45-39. Coming up, they will play in the Southwest ISD tournament Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Thursday’s game will be against Poth at 1 p.m. This game takes place near Southwest, San Antonio. All games will be determined by a bracket.

Boys Basketball

Boys Basketball fell to San Marcos Tuesday night in their second game of the season 57-71. Friday, basketball will take on Clemens at Clemens at 7 p.m.

Wrestling

On Saturday, girls wrestling placed 5th out of 23 teams at Steele HS. Today, JV has a match at 5:30 against Canyon, Madison,  Buda, and Johnson.
