Stepping onto the green court to make a serve, senior Pierce Warnock begins his final season of tennis.

The spring season began at the end of January and ends in April.

“I am super excited to compete at districts this year,” Warnock said. “I think we have a very good chance of winning.”

Tennis coach James Lalonde is excited to watch his players grow this season.

“I always look forward to seeing the players improve over the course of the season,” Lalonde said. “I love tennis and enjoy working with young people. It is a great joy to teach students a sport that I enjoy so much.”

Practices will take place everyday during their class periods and after school most days. The team started the spring tournament season this week and will continue with one team after another competing until late March.
