Athletes to continue their sport careers

Thirteen athletes signed their letters of intent to take their careers to the collegiate level.
Gala Boutin – University of Wisconsin Whitewater, swim
Major: early childhood education
“I want to continue swimming and I wanna go up north.
Colin Doyle – University of Texas Permian Basin, swim
Major: Computer Science
“I think it was a really good fit for me, and I looked at their program and it will take me to the places I wanna be.”
Colin Elliott – Gordon College, soccer
Major: Business and kinesiology
“I chose Gordon because I thought it was the best fit, and I really like the guys and felt like it was a good level.”
Malia Thalman – Texas State University, soccer
Major: Business
“I chose this college because the environment fits me and I love how they play.”
Joel Worley – UDA Soccer Academy – University of Gloucester in England, soccer
Major: Architecture
“I chose it because it was my dream school and has a football abroad.”
Braxton Forsyth – Prairie View A&M University, golf
Major: Business and focus on entrepreneurship.
“I was really impressed with the campus. It felt like home if I went there.”
Ethan Gonzalez – Blinn College, baseball

“I chose the college because when I went there it was the best fit for me, and I really liked it there.”

Taylor Nava – Warner University, softball

“Because I love the state of Florida, and it is a family school. I visited the school, and it is a really good place for me.”
Elyssa Holman – Southern Virginia University, track
Major: Pre-Med
“SVU has been one of my top choices since I heard about it from my uncle….We toured the grounds of SVU. I loved the view, the location was perfect, close housing and a little town nearby.”
