Boys Soccer

The boys fell to Pieper in a tough 2-3 match Friday, and the Warriors are now tied for first with the Rangers. Jax Adkins and Matthew Capetillo each scored a goal, with JD Worley assisting both. They also fell to Tivy 1-2 Tuesday and will play at Seguin this Friday at 7:15 p.m.

Girls Soccer

The girls solidified their first place position with a 2-0 win against undefeated Pieper Friday. Senior Emmy Lambson received a red card early in the match, and the Rangers played a man down for the rest of the game. 

Jasmin Dominguez assisted a late first-half finish by Emma Siebold and – despite being down a player – the Rangers added to their victory with a free kick goal from senior Arianna Monnin in the second half. 

Girls soccer defeated Tivy Tuesday night 1-0, with Sabrina Taber scoring the one goal with an assist from Malia Thalman. Goalkeeper Jacy White had three saves in 80 minutes with zero goals against. They stay undefeated 16-0 and are undefeated in district as well (8-0), and will host their senior night Friday at 7:15 p.m., with ceremonial events beginning around 6:30 p.m.

Softball 

Softball played at the Comal ISD Wurst Tournament beating New Braunfels 8-7. Sophomore Madeline Haun made the All Tournament Team for the Comal ISD Wurst tournament. Softball heads to the Dripping Springs Tournament, Thursday and Friday. 

Baseball

The boys  will compete this weekend in the McAllen tournament Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Vs. Corpus Christi Tuloso Midway at 3:30 p.m. 

Friday-

Vs. Hidalgo Early College at 9:30 a.m. 

Vs. McAllen at 1:30 p.m.

Vs. Rio Grande City at 9:30 a.m.

Golf

Boys golf were winners of yesterday’s NEISD Match Play 2.0. They were also placed in the championship bracket for round 3. Boys Golf will compete this Friday and Saturday in the SA Match Play at Olmos. Girls golf also competed at the SA Girls Match play championship at Olmos Golf course, along with the NB Spring 36 at Landa Park this past Monday.  

Tennis

Gold: mixed doubles  – Electra Hart/ Colton Kadlacek

Bronze: girls doubles – Delaney and Reagan Anderson 

They won the first place team award for the second time in a row. Tennis will play Friday at Corpus Christi Spring Fling.

Both boys and girls won the second annual Comal ISD Relays Feb. 16. They head to Bastrop this weekend.

Wrestling 

Wrestling competed at state this past weekend,  nine Wrestlers were able to compete at state. 

Junior Efren Arizmendez placed second while junior Tristan Luna and freshman Bryce Palmer both placed fourth in their weight categories

Swim

 Swim competed at state this past weekend, girls finishing sixth and the boys finishing twelfth. To check out the results, click here.
