With its second district game of the season coming up on Friday at 6:30 pm at Alamo Heights, volleyball is looking to bounce back and continue their dominance with nearly a decade of winning seasons.
Their current record is 15-11 with their most recent win coming against Memorial (2-0).
Senior otside hitter and right side hitter Amanda Teran leads the team in total kills, serving aces and receptions.
“In order to continue to win games at the district level ,the team and I plan to be more consistent and limit our errors along with prioritizing a good warm up,” she said. “Since the district games affect our record and standings, I’m mentally preparing for them by putting myself in the right headspace regardless of who is across the net.”
After a recent loss to Boerne Champion, team members look to even up their record and turn up their intensity.
