The first official varsity swim meet took place this past Saturday. The team competed against regional powerhouse Reagan.

Sophomore Konnar Klinksiek led the team with two first place finishes, one in the 100 meter freestyle and another in the 50 meter freestyle. Senior Valerie Howell placed 1st in the 100 meter breast and helped the 400 meter free girls relay team place 1st as well.

The team fell short to the Rattlers by a score of 409-204. The next meet is against Alamo Heights on Oct. 29 at 11 a.m.
