The boys varsity basketball team picked up their sixth win of the season last Friday night defeating the Canyon Cougars in a 56-52 shootout win. The team led the cougars going into fourth by only two, and then both teams put up 18 in the fourth making it a nail biter.

Senior guard Jordan Stagg led the team with 22 points followed by Junior Alex Peavy with 15 points of his own.

The basketball team is now 6-12 overall and 1-5 in district play, they take on Judson 17-8 at home this Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
