The aquatics team competed in the 2017 UIL 6A swimming and diving state championships at UT Austin on Friday and Saturday.

Sophomore Konnar Klinksiek won fourth in the 50 freestyle and got sixth place in the 100 freestyle.

Senior Valerie Howell, junior Avery Wilson, senior Hailey Webster and junior Caitie Mansker placed 20th in the girls 200 freestyle relay.

The boys 200 relay consisting of senior Ian Ogrodnik, sophomore Shaun Besch, senior Cole Mansker and sophomore Konnar Klinksiek placed 21st.

Overall the team placed 41st with the combined score of 24 points from the boys and girls teams.
