Senior Cole Cantu scored a total of 160 points for the boys golf team to once again be named region champions. Cantu will attend UIW to play golf.

Baseball

The Rangers on Friday April 12 beat the Canyon Cougars again 10-0 to increase their win streak to 4 games. Their next game will be against  Boerne Champion on April 16th, and they will play Boerne Champion again on April 19th.

Softball

The softball team has officially been named the 2024 District 26-5A Champs with still a game left in the season. The last time they were district champions was 2012. Their current record is 12-1 while their overall record is 25-6. 

Yesterday the team played against Boerne Champion and won 9-1, with senior Arianna Capek hitting a big milestone as a pitcher, getting her 400th strikeout as a Ranger.

The team will end their district season off this Friday at Pieper at 7:00 p.m.

 

Golf

Yesterday, the golf team competed at Regionals, and became back to back Regional Champions. The team combined for an overall 609 points with Ryan Griff placing first, earning the team 145 points total out of both days, and Aiden page placing third with a total of 148 points from both days.

Today, senior Zach Seader signed to further his academic and athletic career to St. Mary’s University. At Regionals Seader combined for a total number of 162 points, helping out the team become Regional Champs again.
