Girls soccer draws with Steele

Bobby Palomin, Editor

After 80 minutes of back and forth play the girls soccer team reached a 0-0 draw with the Steele Knights. The Knights gave the team their only district defeat on the year back on Jan 24 when they fell to Steele in a tough 1-0 loss.

Since that game the team had gone on a six game winning streak until their draw last Friday. The team now has six games remaining in district play until the end of the season as they get ready for the playoffs.

Despite the loss and draw to Steele the team still has a shot at the district championship trailing behind the Knights by just 1 game for the title.

The team’s next game is on the road  today against East Central at 7:15 p.m.
