Softball falls to East Central

The varsity softball team fell to East Central in a tough 7-2 loss at home dropping the to a 8-6 (1-1 in district) on the season.

The team’s struggles continue as they have now lost four of their past five games as they look to get back to winning.

In the game against East Central, the team held a 2-1 lead at the end of the first inning and held this lead for most of the game until the top of the sixth. East Central rattled off six runs. Six errors that occurred throughout the course of the game changed the whole complexion of the game for the team.

The team’s next game is on Friday at home against the Wagner Thunderbirds. The first pitch is at 7 p.m.
