A typical season for most sports lasts a few months (sometimes a semester), but that isn’t the case for the dance team. Being a Silver Spur is a yearlong commitment.
“I don’t think people realize our season starts in July during the summer practices then goes all the way until late April to do spring show,” sophomore Kathleen Bratton said. “We’re constantly going, and we’re super excited to show everyone our hard work.”
The Silver Spurs plan to dance the night away for the last time this year in the auditorium Thursday and Friday.
“It’s the last time you’ll see the class of 2017 dance together,” senior Kerrilee Berger said.
Its one last big finale for the Silver Spurs.
Bratton said, “There will definitely be a lot of sparkle.”
